It is not always necessary to include faces when shooting models – here, I concentrated on the shapes

081110JW0799c-weband textures created by the flowing movement of the material, and although it is obvious that there is a model in the image, the interest comes from the form of the fabric an
d the way the light plays on the thread giving movement and flow to what could have been a very static image.

I find this style of image very popular with clients who like to have something contemporary of themselves on their wall but don’t have the confidence or feel comfortable with the full ‘modelling’ shot.

EOS 1DS Mk3 135mm lens 1/250 f14. Lighting provided by two Bowens 1000 heads fitted with softboxes.
